Marjorie Gestring - Winter Learning Journey

Marjorie Gestring 1936b.jpg

In 1936, a 13 year old girl named Marjorie Gestring became the youngest person to ever win an Olympic gold medal. She won the gold medal in the springboard diving competition. Imagine that you were alive in 1936 and you had the chance to interview her. On your blog, post five questions that you would like to ask the Olympic champion (if you had the chance to meet her!). Here is the 5 question to ask her if I was alive in 1936:

Who inspired you to go to the Olympics?
Were you allowed to go to the Olympic because of your age?
What school did you go?
Where would you go for practise?

Hi June,

I think that you have come up with four really good questions for Marjorie. I would also want to ask her about her practice routine, her schooling and her inspiration(s). In order to earn all of the points for this activity, you just need to add one more question to your list. The activity asks for a total of five :)

I'll check back soon to see if you've had time to add your fifth question!

Cheers, Rachel
